Dynamic Groups

Dynamic groups provide a way for you to create a group of employees using several shared employee attributes. For example, an HR Administrator may create employee groups with grade levels 11, 12 and 13 and group them together as Senior Staff.

Dynamic groups become particularly important when you consider the following usage:

• In Payroll Module, Dynamic groups are used when paying a group of employees e.g. All Employees

• When creating Standing orders in Payroll Module, you can create a standing order for union dues and configure different amounts for different groups of employees with dynamic groups.

• In Approval workflows, Dynamic groups are used to direct the stages of approvals.

Note

A default Dynamic group called “All Employees” ships off-the-shelf with Oxus HRIS. This group does not have any filter and thus targets all employees in the organization.
